In its statement, the Church explained that the school’s rules were created to promote discipline, protect students’ welfare, and maintain a peaceful learning environment—not to target or discriminate against anyone.The Church emphasized that it fully respects Ghana’s laws and is ready to cooperate with the Court as the matter proceeds. It also encouraged the public to remain patient and avoid turning the issue into political or religious tension. According to the Church, Wesley Girls’ High School has always upheld strong values, and those principles remain unchanged.
